Comfort food with a healthy twist. This homemade meat loaf is packed with nourishing ingredients that your body will love.

Meat Loaf

Ingredients:

  • 1 piece of Slimex bread

  • ¼ cup Benna skimmed milk

  • 150g lean ground beef

  • 400g can chopped tomatoes, drained

  • 2 green bell peppers - diced small

  • 2 carrots - grated

  • 1 large onion - diced small

  • 1 egg white

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tbsp ketchup

  • Fry Light low-calorie spray

Method:

  1. Soak the bread in the skimmed milk. After soaking the bread for about 3-4 minutes, add the ground beef, diced tomatoes, bell pepper, carrots, onion, egg, salt, pepper, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.

  2. Mix the ingredients well.

  3. Spray a casserole dish with Fry Light low-calorie spray.

  4. Spoon the meatloaf mixture into a deep casserole dish and bake in the oven for 1 hour.
